Virtual WestJet Moves to FlightLinq

Virtual WestJet is moving to FlightLinq, bringing flight operations, PIREPs, fleet management and pilot activity together in one modern platform.

WestJet Boeing 787 flying over Calgary with a Virtual WestJet FlightLinq operations update

Virtual WestJet is entering an exciting new chapter with the transition of our core virtual airline operations to FlightLinq.

FlightLinq will become our primary platform for flight scheduling, aircraft availability, pilot location tracking, and PIREP submission and review. Bringing these tools together in one system will give both pilots and staff a more consistent and streamlined way to manage day-to-day operations.

For pilots, the move will introduce more realistic operational features, including aircraft location requirements, pilot transfers, fleet availability, and standardized flight reporting. The new Virtual WestJet website will remain the public face of the airline while also providing approved pilots with access to documents, downloads, and important operational links.

Additional onboarding instructions will be provided as the transition progresses. We’re excited to welcome the Virtual WestJet community to FlightLinq and begin the next phase of the airline’s growth.
